Our week proved to be a jam packed full of learning!
The students in our class took it all in stride. They are all working extremely hard and getting quite a bit accomplished.

We honored our beloved veterans today with a special reading of The Wall, a touching story about a boy who visits the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall with his father. There were wonderful essays read by third graders: Chloe Abarientos, Riley Stephens and Ava Geissler. As well as, performances by our BES Select Choir and the BES Fourth Grade Chorus. Happy Veterans Day to all of our veterans, and thank you for your service!
Our class went to Mrs. Johnson's room for science today. We started our first Project Lead the Way (PLTW) unit: Stability and Motion: Forces and Interaction. We will be having science class every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The students learned to log into their accounts this morning and are very excited to get started!
Today the students in our class were so excited to meet and spend some time with Charlotte's miniature show horse, Dually! Charlotte's mom incorporates equine assisted therapy into her work at their farm. Dually is certainly a special horse! The students each got the chance to learn a few commands and lead him through a small course with a jump!
It was wonderful surprise visit for our class and it put big smiles on everyone's faces...even Dually's!
A huge THANK YOU to Charlotte and her mom, for sharing Dually with us!
